Frequently Asked Questions

After you submit a booking request in the app, our consultant contacts the gym on your behalf to confirm availability, current pricing, and any requirements. We then get back to you with everything you need to know before you train. There's no obligation — you decide whether to proceed after receiving the information.
Most booking requests are processed within 24 hours on business days. Priority Access requests are handled first. If you haven't heard back within 2 business days, please email us at admin@athlete-assistant.com with your booking details.
All fees are in NZD. Single Gym Assist ($8) covers a full overview of one gym before you train. Multi Gym-Match ($16) lets you compare up to three gyms with a best-fit recommendation. Priority Access ($21) gives you priority handling and personalised recommendations. Fees are charged when you submit a booking request.
If your request has not yet been processed by our consultant, we can issue a full refund. Once we have contacted the gym on your behalf, a refund may not be available. Please contact us at admin@athlete-assistant.com as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a request.
Athlete Pro is a monthly ($9.99 NZD) or annual ($89.99 NZD, saving 25%) subscription that includes priority booking handling, sport-specific gym recommendations, booking fee discounts, early access to new cities, and more. You can subscribe directly in the app through the Profile tab.
To cancel your Athlete Pro subscription, email us at admin@athlete-assistant.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and your registered email address. We will cancel your subscription and confirm via email. If you are on an annual plan, you retain access until the end of the billing period.
Currently, password resets are handled manually. Please email admin@athlete-assistant.com with the subject "Password Reset" and your registered email address. We will reset your account and send you a temporary password within 24 hours.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please email admin@athlete-assistant.com with the subject "Delete My Account" from your registered email address. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm once complete.
Athlete Assistant currently covers gyms in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and more), New Zealand (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and more), and the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and more). We are continuously adding new cities — Athlete Pro subscribers get early access to new locations.
When submitting a booking request in the app, you will see a "Discount code" field in the booking form. Enter your code there and the discount will be applied automatically to your service fee before you complete the booking.
